Meet the Ladies of Our 2019 Staff!
Sofia Asmerom
Sofia was born and raised in the wonderful city of Bakersfield, California (well, it’s wonderful if you like dust, pollution, and nothing to do)! She is currently attending California State University, Bakersfield and is pursing a degree in nursing. When she’s not in school, you can find her re-watching her favorite shows on Netflix or reading anything she can get her hands on. This is Sofia’s second year as a camp counselor after spending eight summers as a camper in California, and she is so excited to be a part of All Saints Camp again! She is looking forward to sharing and growing in the faith with all the lovely people she meets, and she is ready to leave the scalding Bakersfield sun in exchange for some equally hot Arizona sun!
Paraskevi Constantinides
Paraskevi Constantinides is from Dublin, California and attends the Resurrection Church in nearby Castro Valley. She has recently graduated from Regis University in Denver, Colorado with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Exercise Science and a focus in Neuroscience and Psychology. With this, she hopes to build a career working with kids with disabilities to be able to adapt to their prosthetics. Despite her crazy major, she is always ready for the next adventure, from hiking in the snow, to reading on a sunny day, to healthy competition. She is excited to return to the fun of All Saints Camp this summer!
Juliana Delsante
This is Juliana's third year of being a counselor, and she is so excited to see everyone again this summer! Originally from Gilbert, Arizona, she is now a senior at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where she studies classics with a focus on Ancient Greece. If you ask her which English words come from Greek, she will be more than happy to tell you. She is coming fresh from Athens, where she just spent a semester abroad learning more about her Orthodox faith.
She is pumped to break out her fannypack collection, flower crowns, and friendship bracelet skills for another awesome year at All Saints Camp!
Kathryn Dye
Kathryn was born and raised in sunny Arizona, where she is studying education. She is going into her senior year at Northern Arizona University and is so excited to be one year closer to having her own classroom! Her dream is to become a middle school science teacher (science rules!) and to get more kids excited about science! She has been a part of the Greek Orthodox Church all her life and absolutely loves everything about it. Staying involved in the community is tough while being in college, but she loves going to church, helping with Sunday school, Hope & Joy, GOYA, going to OCF and youth forum. Her favorite thing to do in her free time consists of going on hikes with her puppy Sparky (named after the ASU mascot), hanging out with her friends, and spending time in the classroom. Kathryn grew up going to this camp and cannot wait to be back as a counselor for the first time!
Katherine Hubbard
Katherine is excited for ASC! She is currently a second-year student at Paradise Valley Community College, where she is pursuing two associate’s degrees. There she is also on the track and field team as a 400-meter hurdler. At her home parish of Assumption in Scottsdale, she teaches fifth and sixth grade Sunday School and is involved in the dance program. Katherine was a camper at ASC from seventh grade on, and she made countless connections and long-lasting friendships, so she is so very excited to become a counselor and create those same experiences for the campers!
Niki Katsiotis
This wild little lady is coming to All Saints for the first time! Niki has been working in youth ministry for three years at our Metropolis Camp at St. Nicholas Ranch in California. Niki grew up in Southern California and attends St. Nicholas in Northridge, where she has been active in youth groups and Greek dance. She is currently attending Ventura College, studying to be a children's nurse, and she hopes to be applying to nursing programs soon. She loves every bit of camp after being a camper for many years. Niki loves to sing, dance, and worship the Lord! She is so excited to come and experience this camp and meet everyone!
Chryse Kruse
Chryse Kruse hails from the Southern California desert. She recently graduated from University of Redlands and has no idea what is next but is excited for this new adventure. In her free time, Chryse enjoys spending time with friends, building calluses on her hands while climbing rocks, and reading too many books at once! Camp is one of her favorite parts of the year, aside from Christmas and Pascha, of course. Chryse can't wait to meet the campers, sing around the campfire, and cultivate relationships with one another, the saints, and Christ.
Katie Meris
Katie just finished her freshman year at Grand Canyon University, where she is majoring in elementary education and minoring in psychology. She loves kids and babysits frequently for families in her community. Katie has grown up going to Holy Trinity Cathedral in Phoenix. She was involved in GOYA up until her freshman year in college, and she dances with Holy Trinity's Greek dance group and attends FDF every year. Katie holds her church, her family, and her friends very close to her heart. She loves her Greek culture and background and is very committed to her church. Katie had attended All Saints Camp herself when she was in third grade and had been going annually until her junior year of high school. She is very much looking forward to being an All Saints Camp Counselor this year!
Anastasia Migias
Camp enthusiast Tasia is thrilled to be part of the ASC team this summer! Although a Philadelphia native, Tasia feels right at home here in Arizona, where she is currently pursuing a degree in Business at Arizona State University. She’s no stranger to summer camps, having grown up attending both our Metropolis Camp at St. Nicholas Ranch and Ionian Village. Her summers at camp helped her grow in her Orthodox faith and sparked her passion for youth ministry. In her free time, Tasia enjoys making iconic Spotify playlists, singing off key to whatever is on the radio, and hoping that running 5k’s will somehow translate into marathons. Tasia cannot wait to work with her fellow staff members to give the campers a fun, faith-filled summer to remember!
Katerina Nicolopoulos
Kat can’t wait to spend the summer with you at All Saints Camp! She just graduated from Arizona State University (Forks Up!), where she studied Psychology and Family & Human Development. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering for various ministries of the church, including Sunday school and Greek dance, and she also enjoys hiking, traveling and reading. Kat is going back to ASU this fall for her master’s degree, but until then, she’s looking forward to spending some time in Prescott for her third summer at ASC with you all!
Mary Pettygrove
Mary is a native Southern Californian. She is going into her senior year at University of Southern California, where she studies Choral Music (not to be confused with coral, the thing you find in the ocean). Some of Mary's favorite things include: hanging out with her two adorable god-children, cuddling with her cat, running, eating any kind of soup, going to the thrift store to buy funky clothes, and reading! Mary has grown up going to Camp St. Nicholas in Frazier Park, California, where she serves on staff as Head Female Counselor. She loves camp and can't wait to experience All Saints and meet so many new people, all while getting to share the love of Christ and be in communion with one another!
Staci Vaughn
Staci is a criminal justice major at the University of Arizona..BEAR DOWN! Her love for summer camp started at All Saints and has taken her to both St. Nicholas Ranch and Ionian Village, where she had the best summers of her life. Staci is all about having fun and making the most of everything in life. She is ready to put her bracelet making skills to the test and have some fun with her campers! She is so grateful for her experiences that have allowed her to grow in her Orthodox faith, and she is hyped to be apart of the memories that this year of camp will bring!
Jaclyn Walsh
Born by the sea and raised in the heat, there lived a little wife named Jacky (…of all trades, master of none!). She’s normally seen next to a bearded cowboy named Matt in their natural habitat: the Jeep. If you can’t seem to find her there, go just around the river bend, and there she will be—singing with the birds, painting the waves of the sea, or hiding among the pine trails of the forest, wrapped up in a cup of coffee, all the while marveling at the wonderful little things God has blessed her life with.
Looking forward to her second year of camp, Jacky is ready to soak up the light of Christ with all of you and grow together by grace!
